Snacks

These days I started having some snacks now and then but in BIGGER amounts than ever. I have also decided that some of these are weird, and by some I mean 1 or 2. So here we go!

Apples

I really like apples, especially the sweet red ones but for the past few weeks that sometimes seems to be the only thing I eat. To be honest with you lot, I don't eat healthy (just don't tell my mum) and so I guess I need all that potassium, vitamin A as well as pantothenic acid. You see our bodies evolved to have a hunger/taste for all the things it lacks. Like babies eat the paint off the walls because they need zinc or vampires drink blood because they need iron. It's just a natural mechanism we have from cavemen times when we didn't really know what was good for us, so I guess that is the reason for my snack favourites these days.

See I actually did my research this time!

Plain Bread

Ok. I know it might not be that weird because a lot of people eat plain bread a lot, but I can eat half a loaf in one go. And I'm not even hungry most of the time. To go with that, bread is full of carbs which, according to all those super skinny super models, is very fattening, so basically you can just watch and see how I become Uk's most obese teenager.

Plain Pasta

I'm not sure if this counts as a snack but it looks to me like I'm not getting enough carbohydrates. Besides that I put a lot of salt into the water I cook my pasta in, so just watch and learn how I a heart attack.

Chocolate

You know, this is pretty much explanatory. Chocolate has milk in it, which is healthy for your teeth and bones, it also has coca and sugar in it which are both plants before they were made into powder. And chocolate doesn't give you pimples after all!
Ok. Maybe it's not that good for you, but I am not going to stop eating it.

And that was pretty much what I eat on a daily basis! I hope you some what feel better about yourself now. And if you feel worse, then join the club.

Pokemon in real life: Pros & Cons

Being a hardcore fan of the Pokemon anime series, I decided to finally do a post about Pokemon. However, I wasn't prepared to talk about how cute Pichu is but then how useless he is in the games for a full post so I decided to do a

PROS & CONS LIST
(sounds better in my head)

So basically I will tell you what, in my opinion, are the good and bad sides of having Pokemon in real life!

Let's get started ^.^

Positives c:

  • Cute animal-friends to defend you whenever you're in danger.
  • They will understand what you're saying unlike real life animals.
  • Un-natural powers can be useful for police and healing injured.
  • Children (and adults!) have more reasons to go outside
  • Pokemon powers help us understand biology, physics and chemistry better.

Negatives :c

  • RSPCA problems
  • Pokemon abandoned in pokeballs
  • Wild pokemon attacking humans
  • Animals used for war
  • Pokemons used as experiments and used for furs etc.
  • Imagine this: a 3 feet tall bee with spikes instead of it's legs and red eyes controlled by that one guy who hates you in school. Yeah, I think so too.

So that's all I could come up with in my space of time. I hope you enjoyed! ^.^

High School Essentials

Today, I wanted to introduce you to my list of 'High School Essentials' which will hopefully help you survive high school ^.^

So let's jump straight in!

#1 - A friend

No matter how socially awkward you think you are. No matter how much you might hate everybody in your school. There has to be at least one you can bare with. Getting through high school all on your own can be boring, tiring and scary. Having at least one person you can talk to will save you from things like - sitting next to people you don't know, working on group projects on your own or even getting bullied.
Don't act like there is nobody else with your preferences out there, there always is.

#2 - A comfortable bag

Not necessarily bags like the ones on the picture... But a bag that you'll feel comfortable with. There are free guidelines when buying a bag for school:
Size
Comfort of use
Look
You don't really want a bag that you can't fit your books into, that digs into your shoulders or one that makes people think you're actually a disguised 5 year old girl. And if you think that surviving without a bag (especially at the start) in high school is easy, think again. You'll have to keep going to your locker all the time and if not then you'll have to carry TRILLIONS UPON MILLIONS UPON INFINITIES of books.

#3 - A phone

You might think I'm going over the top teen on this one, but a mobile phone is a must in a lot of scenarios.
There are things like texting your friends where they are, asking your mum to bring your homework because you left it but I mean the most important of all...
AWKWARD SITUATIONS.
Whenever we look like we're forever alone whilst standing in the queue, BAM! Just bring out a phone and pretend you're texting when you're actually playing Flappy Bird. Ehhhh, flappy bird.

#3 - Velcro shoes / Good knot

Most of my adventures of me re-tying my shoes (or at least trying) ended up with me being left behind by my "hawk eye" friends. I want to spare you some hatred towards your friend by making you wear velcro shoes to school or at least spending some time on googling how to tie your shoes so that they don't UNTIE EVERY 5 DAMN MINUTES.

What I do is just tie it the normal way but tie the loop things together again so that they don't untie as easily and so far, it works fine.

So that's it for my school essentials. I hope I helped you out or at least you enjoyed it.

See you soon ^.^
